Developing inspirational leaders, Singapore
Over the past 12 months, our leadership development efforts in Singapore have focused on building resilient, forward-thinking, and collaborative leaders from Singapore along with additional colleagues from Malaysia, and Thailand.
Recognising the interconnected nature of our operations in the Southeast Asia region, a series of training initiatives was delivered aimed at strengthening leadership capabilities in alignment with our business goals. Key leadership training initiatives were designed and delivered with the aim of enhancing leaders’ resilience, strategic thinking, collaboration, innovative thinking and focus on business growth.
They brought together senior managers and business managers for a ‘Senior Leaders Workshop’ and two sessions; one entitled ‘Lead from the Front’ and the other ‘Lead through results’.
These leadership programmes are more than just capability-building they are foundational to the delivery of our strategy and developing leaders that inspire. Mabel Ng, Head of HR, People & Culture, SEA said: “Cross cultural integration and participation from different ethnic groups allows for diversity in thought especially around areas surrounding growth of business and challenging market conditions.
This is essential for building a resilient, responsible and sustainable business that makes informed decisions, that balances growth with purpose, manages stakeholder relationships effectively and ensures there is long-term viability in a changing world.”
