Hays began working with research consultancy Oxford Economics in 2012 to develop the Hays Global Skills Index, to create a clear picture of the dynamics that are playing a role in the global labour markets and the changing nature of the global skills landscape. The Hays Global Skills Index, an annual Index that looks at the labour market dynamics across 33 countries, aims to put in context the challenges employers will face as they compete for employees with the required skills and places a spotlight on the specific pressures faced by organisations and policymakers as they adapt to the rapidly changing demands of today’s complex labour market.
