Advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Brazil 

In line with our global commitment to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace, Hays Brazil delivered a comprehensive calendar of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives throughout the year. These events aimed to educate, engage, and empower colleagues while reinforcing company values and improving recruitment practices. 

The initiatives focused on promoting DE&I literacy, fostering a culture of empathy and respect, equipping employees with inclusive communication tools, strengthening client relationships, and aligning recruitment with principles of equity and social responsibility. 

Key themes included: Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation, Client-Focused DE&I Engagement, Disability Awareness (with emphasis on neurodiversity), Ageism, Racial Awareness, Inclusive Communication and the launch of a new DE&I policy.

The objectives of these events were:

  • – Inclusive Culture: Holding events to create safe spaces for dialogue, encouraging a more conscious and inclusive environment.
  • – Expert Insights: Volunteer specialists sharing valuable real-world experiences.
  • – Employee Engagement: Broad participation helping to embed DE&I principles across all levels.
  • – Improved Recruitment: Greater DE&I literacy for more empathetic and inclusive hiring practices. 

Our DE&I programme in Brazil reflects a people-centred approach to inclusion. By integrating education and lived experience, the company continues to build a workplace where individuals can feel seen, respected, and valued.
