Hays is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Bronze rating by EcoVadis, recognising the continued progress and growing maturity of the company’s global sustainability efforts.

This achievement reinforces the strategic direction Hays has set as a business, where environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles guide how the company operates, makes decisions and creates long-term value. It also reflects the increasingly coordinated global approach the organisation is taking to sustainability and delivery of its strategy, as outlined in its most recent Annual Report.

Over the last financial year, Hays has reinforced its ESG foundation by expanding global reporting to improve transparency, enhancing key policies including the Modern Slavery Statement, and deepening sustainability oversight across its global supply chain. These steps demonstrate meaningful and measurable progress.

Kirsty Green-Mann, Global Head of Sustainability at Hays comments:

“We are pleased with the progress reflected in our most recent EcoVadis assessment. Achieving a Bronze rating is an important milestone in our sustainability journey and places Hays within the top 35% of companies assessed globally. This is a clear signal that our unified global strategy is delivering tangible results.

“We are strengthening the consistency of our sustainability practices across all markets and building on the foundations we have established. While we know there is more to do, this recognition demonstrates that we are moving in the right direction with purpose and momentum.”

With EcoVadis becoming a defining benchmark for many of Hays’s clients, this Bronze rating signals to partners that the company is committed to robust and transparent sustainability practices. It further strengthens Hays’s position as a reliable provider of ethical and sustainable workforce solutions.

Ruth Munday, Head of Client Development CEMEA at Hays comments:

“EcoVadis plays a critical role in how our clients assess the sustainability credentials of their partners. Achieving a Bronze rating gives Hays the credibility needed to compete effectively in key bids and partnerships, reflecting the solid progress we’ve made across our global operations. This award reflects the hard work we have invested in our sustainability efforts over the past few years, the strong foundations we’ve built for continued progress and the consistency of our global sustainability standards that clients can rely on.”
