Hays plc closes Russian business

Hays, the world’s leading recruiting experts in qualified, professional and skilled people, announces that with immediate effect it has ceased all business operations in Russia.  

 

Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Hays has taken the decision to close its offices in Moscow and St Petersburg, cease all business activity and exit the country. 

 

Alistair Cox, Hays plc CEO, commented:

 

“This is not a decision we have taken lightly as a business. However, we cannot continue to maintain a presence in Russia, nor assist organisations there in any way, in light of the current situation.”
