Notice of Implementation of the Revised Worker Dispatching Act as a part of Work Style Reform

17 February 2020

Japan

The implementation of the revised Worker Dispatching Act is coming into force from the 1st of April this year in Japan as a part of Work Style Reform, and this prohibits the unfair and imbalanced treatment between the full-time workers and temporary workers. The implementation requires dispatch providers to select between an “Equal Pay and Benefits” or “Labour Management Agreement” method of dispatch. After careful consideration and consultation, Hays has selected the Labour Management Agreement method for our dispatch service. Please refer to the Health, Labour and Welfare Ministry website for more details.
