Hays, the world’s leading recruiting experts in qualified, professional and skilled people, has announced a partnership with Twilio, the leading cloud communications platform, to enable the recruiter to provide jobseekers with another channel to receive job alerts via WhatsApp.
By using Twilio API for WhatsApp, Hays are able to connect with jobseekers on the messaging app for the very first time and are the first recruitment agency to launch the service worldwide. The platform is currently being rolled out in the Netherlands, where Hays will be using the messaging service to contact its candidates with relative job opportunities.

WhatsApp has more than 1.5 billion users across 180 countries, sending more than 60 billion messages per day.
