TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Board of Hays plc advises that on 9 April 2010 it transferred 147,327 Ordinary Shares of 1p each held in Treasury to the Hays plc Employee Share Trust at 115.3 pence per share, being the closing middle market quotation on 8 April 2010, in connection with the Hays plc UK Sharesave Scheme. Following this transfer, Hays plc holds 80,227,930 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in Treasury. The number of shares in issue is 1,383,868,636 (excluding treasury shares). Hays plc END END
